树洞前，坐着个兔子，棕色的毛还有长长的腿。
A rabbit sits before the hole of the tree, brown hair and long legs.
小蜗牛叫道：“蜗牛快递！沙漠里的小兔子生病了，您是兔妈妈吧，快去看他吧！”他的声音像老人一样嘶哑。
The little snail cried: "Snail Express! The rabbit in desert was sick. You must be Mother Rabbit, you'd better go to see him soon!" his voice was as hoarse as an old man.
“住在沙漠里的儿子，那是很久以前的事了。他可真是个犟孩子，走了以后再没回来过，我们都很想念他。”
"The son in the desert. Oh, that's a thing far away. He was a really stubborn child. He never came back when he went away. We all miss him."
兔妈妈急着要去看生了病的孩子，但她记不清小兔子的地址了。“他是住在，住在……”
Mother Rabbit was eager to see the sick son, but she could not remember her son's address. "He lives in, in ..." |

蜗牛说：“快递员可以帮你带路。”
The snail said: "The express can lead you there."
于是，蜗牛艰难地爬到兔子的背上，紧紧地拉住兔毛。兔妈妈开始奔跑了。
Then, the snail climbed onto the rabbit's back difficultly. He hold her hair tightly and Mother Rabbit began to run.
多快呀！蜗牛的壳里像是灌满了风，这使他几乎拉不住兔毛。
So fast! It seems winds are filled in the shell, which makes him nearly let go the hair.
然而心又开始“嘭咚！嘭咚！”地跳起来。他像是获得了一双长腿，一切都可以飞越。
But his heart began to beat, as if he had had a pair of long legs to fly over all. |

当夕阳快落时，长腿高高腾空跃起。
When the sun set, the long legs jumped up.
蜗牛终于真正地深深体味到这梦想中的一切。
The snail finally really experienced all these in his imagination.
他太老了，但在这生命的最后一刻，小蜗牛终于飞起来了。
He was too old, but at the last minute of his life, he eventually flew up. |
